The Bhagavad Gita

A new English translation of the Bhagavad Gita is being prepared for this site. It is being written chapter by chapter, in the same voice as the leelas that have already been published, and worked through slowly and carefully from the original Sanskrit.

The first chapter, Arjuna Vishada Yoga, publishes in the upcoming weeks. The rest of the eighteen chapters will follow after that, one at a time.

This page is where the whole translation will live once it is ready. For now, this is where you will know it is coming.

Until then, the leelas already refer to the Gita in the places where Lord Krishna speaks it. If you want a place to start before chapter one is ready, Krishna's Vishwarupa is the closest thing on the site. The rest of the leelas are indexed in Leelas.
