About Me

My Journey

How the Lord found me, and how I started this work

Namaste. My name is Akshat. I am a 19-year-old college student living in the United States. About six months ago, I started investing real time in God by visiting the temple regularly. Then a Katha Vachak, a spiritual narrator, came to my state and preached the Srimad Bhagavatam. As the leelas unfolded, I became more and more captivated. I started thinking about Lord Krishna constantly, until I felt a deep connection with him. Every activity I did for him felt different from anything I had ever experienced before.

I then thought of taking on content creation by making edits of Lord Vishnu and Lord Krishna, because I am one of their biggest devotees. I love listening to rap and hip-hop, so I thought, why not use those genres to express my love for the Lord? Whenever I made a video, I felt like I was doing my service for Bhagwan and Bhagwan only.

I knew that I wanted to spread the teachings of Lord Vishnu and Lord Krishna without ever forcing them on anyone. As I kept making videos, I grew deeper and more attached to Lord Krishna. One night, I was in the car on my way to the gym, and seeing the comments on my videos saying that my bhakti for Lord Vishnu was exceptional finally made me break down. For the first time in my life, I cried not out of sadness or worry, but out of happiness. Happiness that I have reached such a deep relationship with Lord Vishnu and Lord Krishna. I continue this devotional service by spreading his name and his teachings through my edits, and I will continue to do so until my last breath. Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya.

My Mission

Why I built this site

I believe spirituality should be accessible to everyone, everywhere. Through this site and through my social media, I dedicate myself to devotional service, what we call seva, in a few specific ways.

  • Spread the name

Sharing the name and the teachings of Lord Vishnu and Lord Krishna through creative expression.

  • Share the texts

Bringing the timeless wisdom of the Bhagavad Gita and the Srimad Bhagavatam into a form that is easy to sit with.

  • Make it accessible

Making Hindu philosophy relevant and accessible through modern media, in a voice anyone can read.

  • Inspire without forcing

Inspiring genuine bhakti without ever forcing belief on anyone. That has been a rule from day one.

ॐ नमो भगवते वासुदेवाय
